The Grapevine is a wine tasting room located in Gruene Historic District featuring New World wines and one of the largest selections of Texas wines available. Step up to our bar to enjoy complimentary tastings daily. We sell wine by the glass or bottle with discounts on wine by the case. In addition, we carry craft beers on tap, wine accessories and decor and "Tasty Bites" are offered Thursday through Sunday. Relax with your favorite wine on our scenic front porch or in our outdoor garden and patio.

MEET TEXAS' BEST WINEMAKERS
On the third Thursday of each month except January, we invite visitors to Meet the Winemaker. Throughout the year, eleven of Texas' best wineries and their winemakers will be showcased. With The Grapevine's new addition of select craft beers on tap, each month will also feature one brewery which will offer samples alongside the wine. Each event will be held on our outdoor patio and garden and will be uniquely designed around the featured winery and brewery, providing an intimate setting for each representative to reveal how they craft their wines and beers. Complimentary tastings will be offered of the craft beer and three of the wineries newest releases, top-selling and hardest to find wines. Samples of food that is offered for sale will be provided. Learn direct from the craftsmen and engage with other visitors interested in wine and beer. Live music and giveaways will accompany each monthly event. During the cooler times cozy around the outdoor fire pits or gather in the tasting room, or enjoy the misters around our porch in the warmer months. Feel free to bring in food to-go from the Gristmill, Mozie's or Cantina del Rio. Then make sure to stop at Gruene Hall, Texas' Oldest Dancehall for music every night year 'round.
